Secondary Traumatic Stress - Educator Well-Being

 The Shoreline School District is committed to preventing and addressing secondary traumatic stress for District personnel by supporting mental health in the workplace. Everyday school staff work with students experiencing trauma and loss. As a result, teachers, school counselors, administrators, and other school staff many experience secondary traumatic stress. 

The following resources are provided to  help with supporting staff's health and well-being while reducing  secondary traumatic stress.

The Alliance for a Healthier Generation has provided  trainings to support secondary traumatic stress.  You will need to create an account to access these trainings.

SmartHealth is an online wellness program that supports your whole person well-being.  It is included in your SEBB benefits at no cost to you.
