WA HCA Division of Audit, Integrity, & Oversight - Audit of Dependent Verification

The Health Care Authority’s Division of Audit, Integrity, & Oversight is conducting an audit of dependent verification on behalf of the SEBB Program. They are currently in the final phase of the audit.

The initial phase consisted of the review of available documents in SEBB Benefits 24/7. The team was able to verify eligibility for the majority of the randomly selected dependents. For the final phase of the audit, subscribers will be required to provide dependent verification documents for dependents that could not be verified during the initial audit phase. The inability to verify the dependents during the initial phase was due to either dependent verification documents being insufficient or not being available in SEBB Benefits 24/7 for review.

Beginning tomorrow (6/6/2024), letters will be mailed directly to selected SEBB subscribers requesting dependent verification documents. Subscribers will be required to provide documentation within 30 days of the date in the letter. Instructions for providing the documents will be included in the letter.

Benefits 24/7 has replaced SEBB My Account

Effective Tuesday, January 16, 2024, all benefit eligible SEBB subscribers accounts are now accessible via Benefits 24/7, which has replaced SEBB My Account. If when logging onto your Benefits 24/7 account you get an error message that indicates you "are not authorized to use this application" or something similar, please try to refresh the webpage and try again. It is a glitch in the system that the WA HCA is working on correcting. We appreciate your patience as the WA HCA works to resolve this system issue.

For more information about Benefits 24/7 replacing SEBB My Account please visit the WA HCA website, "Announcements" section.
