2024 Retirement Seminars

The Edmonds School District and the Sno-King School Retirees Association are providing the District’s 2024 Retirement Seminars for Certificated and Classified staff of Edmonds, Mukilteo, Northshore, and Shoreline school districts. These sessions are provided for employees and spouses at no cost.

Registration IS required for all sessions. Contact Monica Carlson, information below, to register. (Limited seating available)

Session 1 - Thursday, March 7

  • 5:00 – 5:15 pm: Welcome
  • 5:20 – 6:35 pm: Solving the Retirement Income Puzzle, D.A. Davidson & Co
  • 6:40 – 7:00 pm: Retirement Planning, Sno-King School Retirees

Session 2 - Thursday, March 14

  • 5:00 – 5:30 pm: VEBA
  • 5:40 – 7:00 pm: State Medical & Dental Plans, PEBB

Session 3 - Thursday, March 21 (Zoom)

  • 5:00 – 6:00 pm: Social Security & Medicare – via Zoom

Session 4 - Thursday, March 28

Washington State Retirement System/Voya

  • 5:00 – 6:20 pm: TRS 3 / SERS 3
  • 6:30 – 7:00 pm: Deferred Compensation
  • 7:10 – 8:30 pm: TRS 2 / SERS 2

Accessing DRS Online

You may go online to view your retirement statement. The Department of Retirement Systems (DRS) no longer automatically mails paper statements. 

We encourage you to review your annual statement, which shows your service credit and defined benefit contributions.

Access your information via the Washington State Department of Retirement Systems website.

Log in if you’re a current user; or follow the simple instructions on the DRS website to sign up. The site offers features for those who have forgotten their password or user ID for the system. If you have questions about your retirement account, or you do not have access to the Internet, please contact DRS at 360-664-7000, or toll-free at 800-547-6657. You may also e-mail DRS at recep@drs.wa.gov.
