Sarah Antoncich has been selected to serve as Assistant Principal of Einstein Middle School beginning in the 2026-27 school year, pending Shoreline School Board approval, Superintendent Susana Reyes announced. Sarah currently serves as Dean of Students at Einstein, where she has spent the past several years supporting students, staff, and families.

Sarah brings 20 years of experience in education, including service as a teacher, department chair, activities coordinator, and student support leader. Since joining Shoreline School District in 2019, she has served as a Reengagement Teacher, Ethnic Studies Fellow, and lead of Einstein's Positive Behavioral Intervention System Committee, where she has worked closely with students, staff, caregivers, and administrators to build positive, equity-centered school systems. As Dean of Students since January 2022, she has helped sustain a safe, supportive learning community and strengthened multi-tiered systems of support across the building.

Before joining Shoreline, Sarah spent twelve years at Garfield High School in Seattle Public Schools, where she taught Japanese and Project Management courses and served as World Languages Department Chair, Activities Coordinator, ASB Advisor, and Link Crew Coordinator. During her time at Garfield, she led department-wide instructional improvements, grew student leadership and transition programs, and worked to ensure school programs reflected the full diversity of the student body.
Sarah holds a Principal Graduate Certificate from Eastern Washington University, a Washington Professional Teacher Certificate, and a Master's in Teaching from Seattle University.

“I am honored to join the administrative team at Einstein Middle School and look forward to building on its strong tradition of collaboration to support equitable student outcomes,” said Sarah. “Co-creating safe and engaging communities in which our students can thrive is the heart of my work, and I am beyond excited to continue this work in a new capacity with the amazing students, families, and staff at Einstein. Go Tigers…ROAR!”

"Sarah has shown deep care for students and a clear commitment to building inclusive, supportive school communities," shared Superintendent Reyes. "Her experience leading systems-level work at Einstein, paired with her strong relationships with students, staff, and families, makes her well prepared to take on this new role. We are excited for her to continue serving the Einstein community."
