Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution 2026-7, that the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Shoreline School District No. 412, King County, Washington (the “District”) will hold a public hearing during its regular Board meeting on August 11, 2026, starting at 6:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Board Room at the Shoreline Center, located at 18560 1st Ave. NE, Shoreline, Washington 98155.
The purpose of the public hearing is to:
(a) consider whether certain state and local circumstances should cause alterations to the specific expenditures from the proceeds of the District’s State of Washington financing assistance originally authorized in Resolution No. 2016-19 to permit the District to
(1) make District-wide building system improvements and upgrades to extend the useful life of District facilities and site improvements; and
(2) develop a comprehensive long-range capital facilities plan of the District, all as determined necessary and advisable by the Board (collectively, the “Alterations”); and
(b) receive public testimony.
If the Board determines that the Alterations are in the best interests of the District, the Board may, at a future public meeting, adopt a new resolution or amend Resolution No. 2016-19 approving the Alterations.
Individuals wishing to be heard should appear at the public hearing and present their views. Alternatively, or in addition, statements in writing may be delivered to: Art Clarke, Executive Director of Business, Finance and Capital Projects, via regular mail at 18560 1st Ave. NE, Shoreline, WA 98155, or via email at art.clarke@ssd412.org on or before the date of the public hearing.
