Additional Traffic Flasher Window Added Near Middle Schools Beginning December 1

Photo taken from a driver's perspective of a speed limit sign with lights near Kellogg Middle School

Starting December 1, families and neighbors will notice an added window of traffic flasher activity near Einstein and Kellogg middle schools. The flashing lights that remind drivers not to exceed 20 MPH will now turn on daily 7:15–7:35 a.m. to support students arriving for 0 Period, in addition to the regular 8:10 a.m. activation for the typical school-day arrival.

This change enhances visibility and safety during a busy early-morning period.

We are grateful to the community members who raised this need and to the City of Shoreline Transportation team for their partnership in making this safety improvement possible.
