Teaching & Learning
All curriculum and instruction in Shoreline is based on the foundation of the Learning Standards and the Common Core State Standards. Shoreline Schools offer a wide range of learning opportunities including special assistance in basic skills, advanced placement courses for college credit, and professional technical courses for career paths. In addition to classroom instruction, extracurricular programs at all levels provide enrichment in academics, the arts, athletics, and areas of special interest to students. Extensive library and media services are provided at each school to support student learning.
Instructional Strategic Plan
Engaging Minds. Inspiring Dreams. Empowering Lives.
In 2016-2017 the Shoreline School District Board of Directors and Superintendent Rebecca Miner affirmed the launch of a strategic planning endeavor to bring our community together and develop a multi-year instructional plan. This strategic plan sets out instructional priorities reflecting the needs and interests of our Shoreline community and ensuring student learning at the highest levels.
