Superintendent Susana Reyes' Message
Welcome to the 2026-27 school year!

I hope you and your families enjoyed a wonderful summer, and I'm filled with gratitude and excitement as we begin another year together in Shoreline School District. Our communities of Shoreline and Lake Forest Park consistently show up for our students and schools, and I can already feel that same spirit carrying into this year.
Our dedicated staff have spent recent weeks preparing classrooms, engaging in professional development, and getting ready to welcome students back next week.
This year, we're building on the progress on our Strategic Plan, Envision Shoreline, deepening our focus on strong instruction, foundational skills, and the right supports for every student. None of this happens without the hundreds of teachers, staff, and administrators who show up for kids every day, and I'm deeply grateful for them.
I also want to thank the voters of Shoreline and Lake Forest Park for their continued investment in our students and schools, helping us keep strengthening the classrooms, technology, and facilities our students rely on.
I look forward to seeing students explore and grow, celebrate one another, and build the kind of community spirit that makes our district feel like family. Thank you for everything you do to make Shoreline schools such an exceptional place to learn and grow.
With Gratitude,

Susana Reyes, Ed.D.
