Long-Range Facilities Planning
Shoreline School District is launching a Long-Range Facilities Planning Committee to help guide a plan for maintaining and improving our school buildings. This community-driven effort may inform upcoming ballot measures aimed at funding building upkeep and new school construction where it's needed most.

Envision Shoreline: Engage. Inspire. Empower.
Our strategic plan is built around three areas of focus that create an integrated framework designed to ensure that students are prepared to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The plan was co-developed during the 2023-24 school year by a coalition of over 50 people including students, staff, teachers, administrators, parents, and community members, and input from the School Board. We are proud that the plan includes contributions from survey feedback that included over 2,000 responses, of which 830 were students!
Since adopting Envision Shoreline, the school district has aligned priorities, plans, and objectives with the strategic plan and regularly tracked and reported data related to the goals set out in the plan.
Budget Management
Managing a public school district's budget to ensure a balance of revenue and expenses is ongoing work that involves monitoring cash flow, forecasting revenue and expenditures, and continuously evaluating short- and long-term needs to ensure fiscal responsibility while providing the highest possible educational programs and services to our community.
