The Elementary Attendance Boundaries Consideration Committee (EABCC) is charged with developing a set of recommendations for revised elementary attendance boundaries, for consideration by the School Board, to take effect in the 2026–27 school year.

This work is being undertaken in response to variations in elementary enrollment sizes and shifting growth patterns across the district.
The committee will:

  • Review enrollment, facilities, and transportation data
  • Develop and apply agreed-upon criteria to evaluate boundary options
  • Consider community input during deliberations
  • Prioritize equity, community continuity, efficient transportation, and sustainable use of facilities

The committee will be composed of:

  • Parents/guardians representing each elementary school
  • Elementary staff
  • Elementary and middle school administrators
  • District staff from Transportation, Student Services, and Teaching & Learning
  • Community liaison and translator support, as needed

Members of the boundary committee formed following our school capacity and closure review process will be invited directly.
